HOW TO SET UP A GOOGLE ACCOUNT WITH YOUR EXISTING EMAIL ADDRESS

1. Go to Google Sign Up Page:
2. Enter your information:
  • In the "Create your Google Account" section, fill in your first and last name.

  • Instead of creating a new Gmail address, click on the link that says "Use my current email address instead."

​3. Enter your email address:
  • Enter your existing email address that you want to use for this Google account.

​4. Create a password:
  • Create a strong password for your Google account and confirm it by typing it again in the "Confirm" field.

  • Make sure your password is at least 8 characters long and includes a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

  • Click the "Next" button to proceed.

5. Verify your email address:
  • Google will send a verification code to the email address you provided. Check your email inbox for an email from Google.

  • Open the email and find the verification code.

6. Enter the verification code:
  • Go back to the Google Account Sign Up page and enter the verification code in the appropriate field.

  • Click "Verify."

7. Provide additional information:
  • Enter your phone number (optional but recommended for account security and recovery).

  • Enter your birthdate and gender.

8. Agree to terms and privacy policy:

  • Enter your birthdate and gender.

  • Click the "Next" button to proceed.

9. Set up recovery options (optional):
  • You may be prompted to set up recovery options such as adding a recovery phone number or email address. This step is optional but recommended for account security.

10. Complete the set up:
  • Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup process.

Once you've completed all the steps, your Google account will be set up and ready to use with your own email address.
